I was looking for a simple case that would hold my nook, and this is the one I ended up buying. I really like it. The side pocket is a nice size, I use mine to hold memory cards. Compared to some of the other cases available for nook, this one was a great price and protects it so I can put it in my purse without being worried about damaging it. -- Inexpensive and cute!
I previously purchased the JAVOedge Cherry Blossom Book Style Case for the Barnes & Noble Nook (Ocean Blue), which I love. But sometimes I like to hold the bare Nook in my hands while reading and needed a simple sleeve in which to store it when not in use. I like the bird and tree design of this sleeve, and I've used neoprene sleeves before for my laptops, so I ordered this one. It's pretty and looks just like it does in the photos.
However, when I opened the package I could immediately tell that it was too big. Sure enough, when I placed my Nook inside it, the device was practically swimming around inside. (See the photos I uploaded on the product image gallery.) The sleeve appears to be too tall and wide for the Nook -- I think it would better fit a Kindle or larger ereader. Because the device has so much room to move around in the sleeve, the sleep/power button sometimes gets depressed.
I'm disappointed in this purchase, but at least I didn't pay full price for it. I will just continue to use my JAVOedge book-style case. -- Not a Good Fit
