Thanks for the video. I have a Paperwhite but have been thinking of moving up to an Oasis. I love my Kindle, but everything I hear makes it sound even better.

  5. Martial Artist says:

I agree, I take my Kindle Oasis everywhere. I actually finish 3 books a month compared to 1 paper book. Definitely one of my prized possessions. I own over a thousand books and to think a device with a battery lasting almost 2 months carries wealth, power, and knowledge.

  6. CrispyKing says:

I bought the Paper White with the same case about this time last year. I was very skeptical at the time, but I am so glad that I made that transition. I love reading on it.

I started with the Sony Reader about 6 or 7 years ago (fell in love with e-readers, totally), then got a Kobo, and finally a Kindle Paperwhite a couple of years ago. The Paperwhite is so amazing and I just love it! I looked up the Oasis because it looks awesome…but the price point is high. Great video, though. Love seeing reviews of incredible gadgets.😊

  12. Felix Erazo says:

i Have the paper white from 2014, just ordered the Oasis. Now, what I need to do is do some speed reading. Thank You for your review!

  17. Jay Vansickle says:

i love my Paperwhite 3…. the touchscreen doesn’t bothers me at all. As much as I’d like to have an Oasis…the price jump is too much for me. Now…if it were given as a gift…i would gladly accept it.
i personally think they over sold the battery life….in reality you get about 2-3 weeks more than the other kindles. while that is a nice extra bit of charge time….its not really as grand as they wanted it to seem. without the "extra battery" in the cover…you only gets 2 weeks.
That being said…it is a very slick, high end device.

  18. Tim Titus says:

    I love your house

  19. maliboo says:

I would definitely love a video on speed reading

  20. Doris Lim says:

tnx for the review, i went ahead and purchased the oasis 😂, i feel my wallet crying in agony, but it’s worth it, i love to read but my eyes get tired really easily when i read through my tablets (samsung tab A, ipad2) barely use my phone for reading. i like how u put it that books are indeed valuable, made me think, hence, oasis is a good painful investment, was debating a bit whether to buy the voyager instead, but i like the physical buttons, size of the oasis…anyways, looking forward to reading with the oasis!

  21. GamblingDementor says:

personally I got the paperwhite because the new features of the oasis aren’t ones that are essential to my reading experience, so not worth the money for me

  22. Christina Haftman says:

    Do you enjoy audio books?

  23. Salvador Cazarez says:

great video im not an adult yet but my parents are having problems i feel bad i want to help but how can i. I have no money.
